**I Am What I Ate. . .

And I'm Frightened!!!

And Other Digressions from the Doctor of Comedy

by Bill Cosby

Reviewed December 20, 2003.
HarperEntertainment (HarperCollins), New York, 2003.  184 pages.
Available at Sembach Library (814 COS).

This book didn’t get me laughing out loud much, but it definitely got me smiling.  In its pages, Bill Cosby faces a verdict of high cholesterol and tries to cut down on foods that aren’t good for him that, unfortunately, his mouth wants.

Along the way, he speculates with great humor on why people do so many things that they know fully well are not good for them.  What does the doctor mean “in moderation”?  Or how about “once in a while”?

A diverting book, perfect to dip into while waiting around for something.  It will keep you in a good mood.
