When I saw the reaction this new book got at Library Story Time, I simply
had to choose it for this week’s Picture Book Pick.

As soon as I read the title, I had one of the children chanting, “Muncha!
Muncha!  Muncha!”  It’s simply irresistible.  The story
tells of a farmer who goes to greater and greater lengths to keep bunnies
out of his garden.  Each time the bunnies get in, there’s a refrain
that ends with “Muncha!  Muncha! Muncha!”  by the end of the book,
I had all twenty kids chanting along with me, and they didn’t stop when the
book ended!

This is a sure hit for a read-aloud selection with preschool up to early
  school-age kids.  Great fun!
