Wow! This book is amazing!
DK Revealed: Human Body shows us the parts
of the human body--using amazing close-up pictures from electron
microscopes and x-rays and CAT scans and cameras placed inside the
body. This is the body as I had never seen it before.
This is a general reference, showing healthy body parts
and how they interact with each other. I found it completely
fascinating. I never knew before how the stomach and the lungs
look from the inside, for example. It’s not every reference
book that makes for fascinating reading, but this one is stunning.
