***Eyes and Ears

by Seymour Simon

Reviewed June 30, 2003.
HarperCollins Publishers, New York, 2003.  32 pages.
Available at Sembach Library (J 612.84 SIM).

Here’s a book about ears and eyes that uses large, magnificent, brightly colored illustrations and photographs at enormous levels of magnification.  It explains simply and clearly the parts of eyes and ears and how they work, and shows us the different parts at an amazing level of detail.  I find all of these books with close-up pictures of our inner world completely fascinating.  Worth browsing through, even if you don’t have a report coming up.
