      As I’ve said before, I can’t resist books that compliment the reader 
rather   than insulting him.  How delightful to go counter to the trend 
of books   for Dummies or Idiots and bring your children a book that says 
it’s for them  right on the cover!  
               
      These poems are fun, engaging in a lot of word play.  Their 
idea is to make you think but also make you smile.  And they succeed 
to a certain extent.  These poems won’t leave you pondering their deep 
meaning—They   are, admittedly, Ridiculous.  (The editor didn’t let them
be called  Stupid.)  However, they might leave you smiling and making
