****The Power of a Praying Parent

by Stormie Omartian

Reviewed August 2, 2005.
Harvest House Publishers, Eugene, Oregon, 1995.  207 pages.
Sonderbooks Stand-out 2005 (#7, Christian Nonfiction)

Like The Power of a Praying Wife, this book offers suggestions, insight and sample prayers to help you pray for those you love—in this case your children.  She offers 30 different areas where your children can benefit from your prayer, along with verses and sample prayers that you can pray for them.

I love my children and want what is best for them.  Praying through this book serves both as a reminder and a help to bringing them before the Lord in prayer.
