It's been six months since I last posted an issue of Sonderbooks. In that time I moved from Germany to Northern Virginia, sent my oldest son off to college, and completed a quarter of graduate work toward a second Master's--this time in Library Science. I'm hoping I'll start getting in the groove of posting my website again, but still need to get boxes unpacked in my apartment. Next quarter, I'll be taking a class on Resources for Children, so I'll at least be reading children's books. I'm sorely missing my job at Sembach Library--and the chance to pick through the new books as they come in! However, I have a fine stock of books to read, and a backlog of books I've read and need to review, so I hope you'll be hearing more from me soon! I plan to at least post a list of 2006 Stand-outs in January.
