Praying with the Psalmists

Praying with the Psalmists

Praying with the Psalmists contains resources to help you use patterns from Psalms to deepen your prayers.

What's New?

June 13, 2026

I did it! I've completed this website and have a page for every chapter of my as-yet-unpublished book, Praying with the Psalmists! The website is intended to complement the book, but even without the book, you can find some tips for writing your own psalms, using patterns from the Psalms in the Bible. Tonight I posted the page for Psalms of Praise, and recenty posted a Praise psalm example on Sonderjourneys. I'm hoping readers will post their own examples in the comments.

Even though the basic website is finished, I plan to continue adding example psalms, which you can link to from the webpages.

Subscribe to my Sondermusings substack to follow my progress building this site.

May God's face shine on you!
